Portis Consulting's Principal,
Phil Hayhoe, is a highly experienced training and communication skills consultant.

Phil has developed a raft of workshops focused on excellent communication, sales, strategy and governance with clients such as NZ Post, Aquatherm, Advice 4 Life, Hesketh Henry and Colliers International.

He first learned presentation skills through Toastmasters where he rose to become President of the Auckland Toastmasters Club.

A published author of "The Art of Law" and "How to Market Your Artwork Without Killing the Genie" (the popular artist development program), Phil has established a strong reputation as a high level training consultant, business development expert and arts administrator.

Phil has held a slew of senior business development, marketing and sales roles, and most recently was Chair of The Incubator Creative Hub in Tauranga.
